Faux Mother of Pearl

Quite a long time ago, we did a technique called faux mother of pearl it’s a super simple technique which really doesn’t require a lot of tools to create it, the photograph really doesn’t do it justice – but the effect is really very shiny on the butterfly die cut.

Stamps: Elements of Style

Card stock: Patterns Stack Neutrals DSP, Sahara Sand, Marina Mist, Shimmer White, Not Quite Navy

Ink: Marina Mist, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Black Stazon

Accessories: Frost White shimmer paint, basic pearls, Typeset Alphabet Bigz, Beautiful Butterflies Bigz, stamping sponge, Dimensionals, blender pen, lace border punch (retired).
