Gift card holders with Pop’ n Cuts die

I have been giving gift vouchers for presents for decades, it’s not that I don’t care enough about the recipient to chose them a present, but I have found for weddings, babies and similar occasions that people tend to double up on gifts. So I give them the gift of choice with a gift card, but I do try to present them nicely.

The Pop ‘n Cuts card base is perfect for making quick gift card holders, simply cut it out with the die and from the flat end score it at 3.5″, 5.5″ and 7.5″. Using Sticky Strip join the middle section at the base of the fold and use the Word Window punch to cut out a slot to add in the card.

The front is then embellished to suit the occasion and the curved tabs slot into the back slits and you are done. This one got embellished with some silver glimmer paper for bling (a little bit of this goes a LONG way) and Baby Prints.

The next was made the same way and embellished with gold foil and an image from the Best of Christmas – loving that stamp set.

Here’s another variation using some products from the Holiday catalogue the Wishing You stamp set and the Season of Style print stack of paper – such an economical way to buy the patterned paper!

Sadly we have been told that the contract Karen Burniston had with Sizzix has ended so the Pop ‘n Cuts range will not be carried after the end of the current main catalogue *insert large sad face* so if you are wanting to get these Pop ‘n Cuts dies it is a case of ordering them sooner rather than later.
