Happy 2014!!! What a FULL 2013 I had in my personal life, work life and also my Stampin’ Up! business. I had a very fortunate yet exceedingly challenging year, but am looking forward to a wonderful new year in which to do lots of new things.
I didn’t get to send as many Christmas cards out as I wanted to this year, but more than I sent the previous year, so yay me – I’m celebrating the positive rather than focusing on my shortcomings. So I decided to make some New Year cards to send out as well to some of those that I didn’t get to send Christmas cards to. Unfortunately our cherub decided to gift us with a nasty summer cold so my head has felt like cotton wool for a few days and my mojo has been scooting along at almost zero – but fortunately I saw a lovely card on a UK demonstrators blog here that I CASEd, I changed the stamp sets and dies, but yay I made some cards.
The new year and hello sentiments were done using markers to rubber as I didn’t want the entire sentiment. The arrow was hand cut and glued on using Tombow which I find best for sticking small pieces of card stock together.
