I’ve had two classes during school holidays (not just for children as the projects are suitable for all ages +6). As school returns soon, we made a corner bookmark, a bag tag and decorated a notebook. As most of the participants were children, we used the super cute limited edition Monster Hugs, available until January 27th in blue or coral, they are $9.95 for a pack of 18 and are designed to hold treats, but we used them flat.
The alphabet used was Morning Post, which I have in clear mount as I find it easy then to line up words on the clear blocks without having to use a stamp-a-ma-jig!
For some reason I didn’t take a photograph of the bag tag – they were made using shrink plastic stamped with StazOn ink and coloured with pencils. Below is the corner monster bookmark that we made using a 6″x6″ base piece of card stock.
The children had a lot of fun, as did the parents, my regular Tuesday afternoon classes recommence on February 4th so you can BYO projects and enjoy some afternoon tea and child free time for just $5 or join in on my set classes where everything is provided for $20, creche is still subsidised (thank you Cockburn Council) and costs just $2.50 for 2 hours.
