So amidst the craziness I decided to start using my time effectively and decided that unlike last year I would get an early start on my Christmas Cards. However I like using non Christmas stamp sets for this purpose rather than having lots that are just for that purpose, hence I used the sale-a-bration set Happy Birthday to You. It involved lots of fussy cutting, but at the minute I have time!
The wreath was die cut from the Painted Labels dies and then the centre cut out with a 1 3/4″ circle punch. The flowers were white heat embossed and then coloured with re-inker and an aqua painter. After making a dozen cards in this style I used the off cuts on a tag rather than just let them accumulate in a box (as I have two full of those already).
How many Christmas cards do you normally make? I think I have several to go yet to get ahead of myself come the festive season.
