So following on from the post earlier in the week, the other 3 card designs I made for Combat Cards were these, there was another card, but I forgot to take a picture of it – the photo quality below isn’t the best, but that’s what you get for a phone at night!
Coredinations card stock always looks really good embossed and sanded back, but then I love cards with texture. The leaves were from the bird punch and the letters were from the Timeless Type Alphabet, the embossing folder is a retired one (sorry I did say in the previous post I was using up last years kits that didn’t get used) and the flower was from Flower Shop.
I used the Petite Petals and Perfect Pennants on the Delicate Doilies for the next card, love that the Perfect Pennants comes with some interesting boarder stamps as well. I always cut my Delicate Doilies with a piece of wax paper between the die and the card stock/designer series paper to prevent the small die pieces sticking.
The last one was using up some items from last years Sale-a-bration, I have a box of punches out items (like these butterflies) that would have been excess to what ever project I was doing at the time and the leftovers all go into a box for use later on tags or similar. The sentiment is from Perfect Pennants and the honeycomb embossing folder is such a favourite of mine!
The next Combat Card session is on the 17th of March.
