I am totally loving the Expressions in Color Paper Pumpkin Kit – at AUD$37 is a total bargain. The kit has everything in it to complete the 9 cards with envelopes except paper snips, so it’s perfect to give as a gift, take travelling or use when you’re low on mojo.

As I rarely make these kits as prescribed, I thought I’d share with you some of the cards I made with the kit by adding some other card bases and elements or just changing the design of the existing components. The colours of the card stock or extra die cuts (that were on my desk from other projects) are Evening Evergreen, Fresh Fushia, Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee, Basic White & Night of Navy and the tags are on Crumb Cake bases. I used all of the sequins in the kit, have over a metre of twine left over, one hexagonal die cit, two small banner die cuts and four of the green rectangle die cuts left over. The card not pictured is the one of the fuchsia ones made as per the kit that I have sent out already.
One of the advantages we have in Australia is these Paper Pumpkin kits are released 4-5 months after they are released in North America so I tend to get inspiration online from others who have created and either CASE (Copy and Share Everything) or come up with own ideas – in this instance it was a hybrid as there was so much in the kit to utilise!
Vellum cut at 2.5″ Vellum cut at 1.5″ Card base opened flat and cut at 7cm, then cut 1″ off coloured bottom section. Made two with different sentiments & die cuts from the kit Green strips 1″ wide Green strip 2″x4 1/4″ Basic White 2.5″ x 3.5″ & Bumblebee 0.75″ x 3.5″ Made two like this, coloured vellum at back with Blend Strips & squares are 2cm wide 1″ wide strips x 2.5″ Envelopes decorated with masks & Blender brushes Coloured strips are 3.5cm wide onto 4cm Fuchsia layer
So I total the kit with my additions yielded 16 cards and 2 tags with some leftovers plus the stamp set to keep creating…..and just for a change from Stampin my envelopes I decorated the envelope using the decorative masks and Blend brushes.
Can’t wait for the next Paper Pumpkin kit as this one was so much fun!
