So each month I set my team a challenge – some months it’s to simply send out a card, others it’s card sketch or a theme or just something random…..I excel at random! This month is was a sketch challenge…
I got the sketch from PageMaps and not following the normal I rotated the sketch and this was my resulting card:
The designer series paper was from a Sale-a-bration pack called Peaceful Prints and the stamp set is called Happy Holly-Days and it was the first set I bought from the current mini catalogue (well actually I bought it as a bundle with a holly border punch as you save 10% when you purchase it as a bundle). I stamped it onto watercolour paper and then coloured it with the smallest water brush and re-inkers (Soft Suede, Cherry Cobbler & Garden Green) before going over the holly leaves with Wink of Stella and fussy cutting everything! The sentiment was with gold heat embossing and Versamark.
I think I like the way it turned out and challenges are always fun as they get you to step outside of your comfort zone just a little! I wonder what I should challenge them with next month?
