We did a bags & tags class recently at Crafternoon and these are two of the 4 projects we made. These were both commercial paper gift bags that we turned into unique gift bags, with just a little bit of effort there is no reason to gift wrap and waste lots of paper anymore, you can simple place the gift in one of these bags and then the recipient rather than tearing off nice paper, can simply take the present out and re-use it.
This bag was decorated with a sheet of the beautiful Fresh Prints designer series paper and a double layered tag using the new angled tag topper punch. The flowers were from Flower Shop & Petite Petals (I am loving how these over lay so beautifully) and the sentiment is from Chalk Talk and punched out with the large oval punch. The faux stitching was done using a Soft Suede Stampin’ write marker pen.
The next was a larger gift bag and instead of a normal gift tag, we used the new spiral flower die in two colours, layered onto the largest of the Fun Flowers die cuts to create the leaves. I sponged all the edges of the flower and the leaves to give it more depth of colour and it made a 3D tag that on the back has a “to/from” sentiment.
The designer series paper on the bag is from the free Sale-a-bration Sweet Sorbet and the butterfly punch outs are cute just punched and layered with card stock and designer paper. I love how everything co-ordinates with Stampin’ Up! and you just know all of the ink colours, punches, designer paper and more will all match.
