Bottled with Happiness Simple Flowers

Each month Stampin’ Up! challenge demonstrators to create basic “simple stamping” cards to help inspire people who are new to stamping who don’t own 30 years worth of accumulated craft products! So this month the criteria for the card was stamps, ink & new.

For me the new are items from the upcoming Annual Catalogue, releasing May 3rd. I used the Bottled with Happiness stamp set, a simple two layer set with two of the new In Color inks Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party. I stamped the sentiment in sorbet ink and then masked off the strip across the centre of the Basic White card with a torn Post-It note. Then I stamped the leaves in the green ink and the flowers in the sorbet colour. I layered the white panel onto one of the Tea Boutique cards & envelopes – these are super cute & convenient as the envelopes are already decorated as are the card fronts and the pack comes in a variety of colours and patterns, they are on page 137 of the new catalogue (I can’t link the product yet until it releases – access to items early are one of the many perks of being a demonstrator).

If you want to join us at the Annual Catalogue Launch Party we’re holding on Saturday May 14th from 3-5pm you can check out the event details here or if you can’t make it to the event, but would like a copy of the new catalogue and don’t already have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator please let me know as I’d be happy to get one to you & be your demonstrator to help you on your creative journey.
