We had a 8yo boys birthday this morning to attend and the party invitation was written on Lego Ninjago paper – this was the card and present we gave in response (told you I was the queen of gift vouchers – but having a birthday this close to Christmas and 4 male siblings I was at a loss to chose an item as a gift when even his Mum couldn’t suggest something definite to get!).
I love being able to make a matching greeting card and gift voucher holder. The voucher was made using the base of the Pop ‘n Cuts base. The eyes were from the owl punch with the eyebrows being double punches of the body part.
The Ninja was made from the Top Note die & the Adorning accent edge lit in Real Red card stock on Daffodil delight. The greeting was from Itty Bitty Banners – but you could just leave it off if you preferred.
Edited to add: The voucher holder is scored by putting it on the Simply Scored with the flat side to the left edge of the board and score your piece at 3 1/2″, 5 1/2″, and 7 1/2″.
love it, what did you use for the eyebrow?
Thanks
The eyebrows were done using the side of the owl body and double punching it that way – I’ll try to take some pics and add them of what I mean for you later today
wow this is fantastic Ann!
What a great idea Ann.
Love it! Haven’t bought the pop & cut yet, but looking at your creation I think I’ll have to add it to my next order 🙂 thanks for inspiring me.
