Envelope Punch Board

We got an awesome new product today that will boost your creativity in a matter of a minute – the new Envelope Punch Board! It’s so easy & so much fun – you can create custom sized envelopes, tags, boxes and lots of other cool things with it.

It makes 66 different sized envelopes in whatever colour designer series paper that you chose to use! The measurements are provided in both metric and imperial. New Thinlits Card Dies!!

There are two super exciting new Big Shot dies available form today – the Thinlit dies – they make creating flip cards super fast & of course they co-ordinate with lots of Stampin’ Up! punches, stamps and other dies.

There is a really cute You Tube video where you can see them in motion – of course they can be extended to make fold out cards or just use the elements that come with them alone.

A couple of tips I’ve found from using them this week

1. If you are die cutting the base – you can get 4 from a sheet of 12″x12″ card stock with very little left over, much less waste than trying to cut them from A4 sheets

2. If you are die cutting the elements that are smaller or have thin components – use a piece of wax paper between the die and the card stock to prevent things from getting stuck and tearing.

More cards made with Tag It

I am loving this stamp set, Tag It is certainly super versatile and lots of fun, of course having co-ordinating framelits also helps! Here are a few cards made using it – I’ve also done a party using this set, so if you are stuck for ideas or would just like to have fun with friends why not book a party now?

Here’s a card using the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit – I am very partial to the chameleon – I think it’s my reptile remover coming out in my stamping!

Combining the Tag It set with the Chalk Talk framelits is so easy – ohh of course the magnetic platform is worth it’s weight in gold if you are using framelits a lot, but that’s just my personal opinion! This card also uses the new chevron border punch, Season of Style washi tape & the Oh, Goodie! stamp set

Ronald McDonald House Charities Stamp Set

One of the most wonderful things announced at the Brisbane Convention was that Stampin’ Up! is now a global sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, so for the first time Australia gets to participate in fundraising for this charity. The money raised by Stampin’ Up! selling this stamp set in Australia will stay in Australia and be used by our local Ronald McDonald Houses.

These were some quick samples we made and donated to families staying at the Ronald McDonald houses so they had some cards to send to friends and family whilst they were away from home. We also used the Tag A Bag accessory kits – I love the pre-cut pieces in this kit – so much fun!

Sketched Birthday

Who doesn’t love presents?? Well at the Stampin’ Up! Convention earlier this year, all the attendees got this stamp set, Sketched Birthday, for free! How cute is this stamp set? What better way to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 25th birthday anniversary?

We used it last school holidays for making some cute birthday cards, stamping directly onto the designer series paper and embellishing with punch outs, flags and dazzling details glitter.

They were fun, bright and easy to make for all ages and having stamps that co-ordinate with punches makes everything so much easier. I think the 1 3/4″ scallop circle punch must be my most used punch.
