We are starting to see some of the exciting new products coming through the US market which will be released in Australia on July 1st and I am loving this one – check out the short video below:
The new cases are similar to the clear-mount boxes and will also have the images and stamp set name on the spine to make finding a stamp set even easier. Starting July 1st all wood-mount sets will come in this new packaging. Empty cases will be available with the launch of the new catalogue on July 1st. That means you can transfer all your old sets to these new boxes for complete uniformity in storage! There will even be a template for you to create your own label for your old stamp sets (available 1st of July).
A pack of four half-size cases (9.5 x 14 cm) will sell for $8.95 AUD/$10.50 NZD and a pack of four full-size cases (19.1 x 14 cm) will be $11.95 AUD/$14.50 NZD. So excited about starting to see the new products – I wonder what else we’ll be getting??
Two lovely friends sent me pictures of some of their birthday card creations and I thought I would share them with you now – of course if you would like to go in the running to win +$50 of Stampin’ Up! goodies see the previous post for details (basically just send me a pic of a recent creation you have made that incorporates some Stampin’ Up! products).

My current favourite stamp set – love the use of Dazzling Diamonds on the fish – gives the scales real depth.
Dinoroar is always a firm favourite for boys cards and the colour combination or orange and green is awesome!
Being able to die cut letters and numbers means that you will never run out of those that you require and they always match your projects.
Love the fussy cutting for this yacht and the white gel pen highlights.
Catherine made very good use of the FREE hostess silver glimmer paper from Sale-a-bration.
I’m loving the marbled sponging on this dry embossed card – the colouring on the roses is just lovely.
Annette made this lovely sparkly card that is just out of this world!

April has a few family birthdays for us in the month, including my own, and I make far more birthday cards during the year than I do Christmas cards so am always looking for ideas. Do you like the red velvet cupcakes in the picture above? They were made by a lovely lady in my downline for our meeting last week, apparently they just “fell out of her oven” I think I need a new oven as nothing this good comes out of mine – they tasted SO good! One of the stamp sets in the catalogue that I absolutely love is called By the Tide, I’ve only just started playing with this stamp set, but I know I’ll be using it a lot more!
In a technique class last year I did a technique called shaving foam, I had a couple of pieces of the gloss card stock left over and was waiting for the right project to use them – well here it is………lots of fussy cutting, some fish are flat and some are raised up on Dimensionals.
The next was made using only the neutral palette and simple masking, sponging and coloured using a blender pen and ink pad. It also incorporated the natural ribbon trim also in the Seasonal catalogue, it has a gorgeous open weave and sets off masculine items well.

Well for my regular blog readers & newsletter subscribers – you would have seen me inching my way towards achieving Stampin’ Up!’s Grand Vacation – well I got the official email this morning – I have achieved this personal goal! Last month my customers, friends, family and team have all been very supportive and helpful and helped me achieve the lofty new title of Senior Manager, a leadership and sales award AND the pinnacle reward that Stampin’ Up! offers annually – called a Grand Vacation!!
What this means for me – other than achieving a personal goal – is that that I have earned a trip for two all expenses paid to The St. Regis Deer Valley, Utah in July this year! I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your patience, support and friendship in helping me OFFICIALLY achieve this trip (I knew unofficially 3 weeks ago), but now it’s official I have achieved the trip I can go and try to track down my passport later tonight to see if it is still valid or not………
